I rescued about 11 goldfish eggs one month ago. All of the babies have died except one, and it is being kept in a breeding trap in the same tank as the bigger fish. At the moment he's only half an inch long and I'm worried about him getting sucked up the filter or eaten by he other fish if I put him in the same tank. Any ideas how long I should kepe him in isolation ?

You could always set it up a seperate little tank....i'm sure you'll have more eggs next year so you can put the tank to use again.

I had 250 of the little blighters....i couldn't give them away !!!

I had a lot of platys and mollies and kept them in a seperate tank. When they were big enough, the pet store took them off me. Its probably best to keep him separate untill he looks big enough to fend for himself.
