I have an HP Deskjet 1220C A3 inkjet printer which recently 'grabbed' a whole bunch of paper as it was printing. This jammed the works and now even though I have cleared the print path I can't get the printer to work.
I've tried disconnecting power and the network cable but to no avail. Can any member suggest how I can get it going again?

Have you cleared the print queue? Is there a self-test facility or print test page options? You may need to remove and reinstall the software.
Question Author
Yes, the print queue is clear. I will try reinstalling the software.
See if this works first! ...

Thanks AlBags, I'll try that when I get to work on Monday.
I can't begin to imagine what possible benefit there will be in removing and reinstalling the software...
Nor me.
Daft suggestion really.
Sure there is no more paper wound up in there somewhere?
Question Author
Absolutely sure. I have double checked it.
