hi i have a mondeo that i'm demolishing, i need to remove the petrol from the tank.. what is the procedur

I would just remove the pipe from the fuel pump, shove it in a can, and power up the pump, because the pressure isn't being built up, the pump should keep running, either that or if the car is scrap, whack it up on its side and remove the tank, its plastic so there should be no bother taking it out.
