I thought for one moment that he would get away with a manslaughter charge. A hideous crime, and lets hope he does the full term.

The newspapers did know NayaiW - they were prevented from reporting such details so as not to prejudice the trial. Reporting restrictions are now lifted though.
Wos, as I already said to ann, and also at the time, we didn't all think the landlord was guilty so speak for yourself please and not for me. thank you:-)
sorry, yes you are right, I was just generalising that the impression that the papers gave would make most people think He was guilty. But, I must say the papers used photographs of Him looking like a dodgy character. ( in my opinion, possibly not yours and lots of other people)
wos thanks for the apology. I just thought too many people jumped the gun at the time just because he looked a bit unusual. What a nightmare he found himself in.
Yes, I feel really sorry for the bloke. imagine being a quiet reclusive type person, then suddenly you are the number one enemy and your photo and life are splashed all over the country. A nightmare i don't think most of us could suffer too well. I am really sorry for the parents of the girl, and Tabac should, in my opinion be removed from this earth. prison seems to be ( so they say) like spending your life in the living room with a bit of excersise thrown in and a few good books to ward off the boredom. lets hope some nutty inmate thinks he is attractive, if you know i mean.
From what I've been told, nonces (sex criminals) are detested by the 'honest' criminals in prison. He will not have a good time in there.
Although I don't believe in capital punishment, I do, however think he deserves to be where he is and to be the target of the prison population. May the guards be slow to his aid.
Oh goodness. The landlord, Chris Jeffries is on the news now and he's had his hair cut and dyed it reddish brown. Oh dear.
I wonder how many people decided her odd ball landlord was guilty when the police targeted him.
The example of the innocent landlord shows ...

One should never make judgments about people's guilt or onnocence based only on their appearance or behaviour.
Tabak is doing 20 years minimum.

It's a pity that "life" doesn't mean "life"... like forever.

He was a weirdo.
Never judge a book by its cover, tis true is that.
Tabak had all those weird things on his computer, that we didn't know about until he was convicted.
