I do not have a creative bone in my body but need to make some Christmas decorations, hanging things and things to go on a mantle piece.

I've looked on the web and have been overwhelmed with tat. Can anyone suggest good websites for crafts or suggest decorations that I could make.

Oranges studded with cloves, cranberry and popcorn garlands have all been done before so I'd like some alternatives.

TIA

Given that I can barely be ar$ed to put a tree up at home I cannot believe how much time I've spent on this little work project!

i was going say get some dried hops to use as well they smell really yummy! and go well in a natural theme. and for the tying of bows what about thin strips of soaked willow, soak a bough in a bath of warm water for 24 hours then its yours to moldx

Thanks RH, I'll def be doing some foraging for various greenery and berries. Am planning on doing some gingerbread/salt dough cookies with boiled sweet windows, more food related deccies the better.

I had been thinking about how I can incorporate willow whips as I am sure there are some about.

Hops can't be used as they are classed as autumnal rather than Christmas!

I've got loads of ideas now and just need to exercise some control so the set doesn't look like a complete mish mash!!!
