I'm a big fan of Doc Martin but I think this series should be the last. The storylines aren't good anymore. The restaurant is unbelievable, the policeman is rubbish and unless something amazing happens Louisa will never end up with the crusty rude Doc, which is what we all want to see.

The introduction of the baby has spoilt it.

The same can be said for the baby in Emmerdale along with the trio Paddy Marlon and Rhona.

The baby in Coronation Street fought over by Kevin Webster and Tyrone Dobbs.

Plus the baby story line in Eastenders (Ronnie Branning, who swapped her dead baby for the newborn son of Kat Moon.
So it all comes down to over-population agai, AOG:

Quite so it seems. .
There aren't that many Muslims or colored folk in both programmes - therefore, it is not representative of British life, just like The Archers.
If you visit a place like Port Wenn (in reality Port Isaac), DT, you will not find many Muslims or coloured folk. In fact large tracts of the UK see relatively few, if any, non-white faces. I have relatives who live in West Dorset and it is only in the larger towns where one comes across such “diversity”.

The whole of the UK is not like Tower Hamlets or Bradford and to suggest that such places are unrepresentative of British life is simply misleading.
Where I live there are very few Afro/Caribbean/Asian people. When I lived in London, over 20 years ago every second person you met was non white.
