I'll start.

If you take a basket in a supermarket, you will regret it half way round the store.

Try and do someone a good turn every day. At the end of the day you may feel good about it.
What about "aw don't worry - there are plenty more fish in the sea" told me by my Mum when another love-struck teenage romance hit the rocks!
My grandma always told me never to trust a man with a limp handshake as you don't know what else might be limp. Thanks, Grandma!

When you don't know what to say...start with 'hello how are you? ' and mean it....

That's nice mamya - funny how you can hug some people on certain occasions, and not on others.... a business colleague is leaving and I gave her a hug, I wouldn't have dreamed of doing that when I was working with her.
Remove the lead flashing from your porch before some toerag does it for you.
