I am, it's daft as it's still August but already I am thinking I will be taking those white voiles down soon and putting my Aubergine lined ones up!!!
changing the cushion covers to match too,

Don't draw my curtains...have done a sketch of a fruit bowl and a vase of flowers though ( voiles for summer will make some heavy curtains for winter when I see the right fabric)

yep...like to change the whole look for the winter...warm curtains, different cushion covers, softer light bulb tones, used to have two sets of accessories...lamp shades etc put fleecy thows on the couches... snuggly...

me too Rowan, I change the whole colour bit to match the mood of Winter

by using warmer colours and textures I feel warmer so use less heating makes sense to me....

my colour this year is Aubergines and purples, I think

will swap some of my pistachio for warm reds and golds just shift the emphasis... and put peach toned bulbs in the main lights... curtains will need to be terracotta to match the sofas though. Am probably going to line them with gold so when the sun shines through they will change tone

LOL< what a random thread! Winter curtains? I thought everyone had thick curtains and nets which serves both winter and summer? Am I doing it wrong?
