Can anyone tell me in simple language please, what added features the Sony S480 has that the S380 does not have?
prev Trying to make back-up for HP laptop.

The most obvious difference is that the more expensive model supports 3D disks.

Thanx Chris, that's it but difficult to sift through all the tecci jargon.
The best discovery is that the next model up. the S580 is the real; bargain as it has wi fi built in and 3D so.....I won't need to buy the LAN USB, bargain!
