my son took a bite of a scotch bonnet and his mouth is on fire,he has been drinking milk etc,what do you recommend.

Similar thing to Chris's, though much later and not culinary related. I had been rubbing some Fiery Jack into my sore arm. Went for a wee without washing my hands. Same effect.

I managed to rub my eye after chopping them, one side of my face felt like it was on fire.
( yes, I have two eyes before anyone starts! :p )
Nothing worse than chopping chillies, washing your hands, as you do, and then biting your nails 3 hours later, the heat is still there!
id eaten a starter which made my mouth burn i asked for water and the owner asked if i was ok n told her my mouth was on fire she gave my a handmade chocolate which definitely did the trick and was yummy too hope hes ok soon

try bread with no butter or marg on it, that gave me a restaraunt in Thailand and it worked.
