BFPO - remember it well.

It is a beautiful day on the edge of the New Forest. Just gone 7.30 a.m. we were waving to the passengers of a hot air balloon as it slowly ascended above the trees here. Magically quiet until the pilot fired the burners.

sounds lovely
Would love to answer but the last time I tried to add a tune I was shot down in flames by the ChatterBankers.
Masma - why?
And after Family Favourites you had the pleasure of Round The Horne. Kenneth Williams and Hugh Paddick (Julian and Sandy) with Betty Marsden (Dame Celia Molestrangler).
I used to love Round the Horn
and Mike, the Fraser Hayes Four!
I remember Sunday lunchtimes well, with Jean and Cliff on Family Favourites asking each other about the weather.
One of my old favourites.

I don't know how Julian and Sandy got away with the gay polari - this was at a time when such things were still illegal.
Boxtops... I tried (and failed) to join in with the late night "add a tune" I reposted a tune and was told in no uncertain terms " why have you reposted" I swore at that point that I would never go on ChatterBank again yet here I am - sad life eh?
Take not notice masma, we all have to start somewhere. Keep trying.

Mike I used to love Julian and Sandy. Round the Horn was a great programme.
Surely, if we're playing at 'Two Way Family Favourites', we ought to be
(a) choosing tracks between from between 1960 and 1984 ; and
(b) dedicating them to someone.

So, for Bobbisox, in Internetland, I'll request this:
