Windscreen for a 2001 Vauxhall Corsa cost? I've had a look at the Autoglass site but can't see the costs.

If your insurance is fully comp, Chrissa, it should only cost you the excess on the insurance policy, I would have thought

It's my daughter's car and she had a chip mended in March. She's just had it MOT'd and the chip has got longer and it failed. Will Autoglass replace it under warranty do you think?

longer or cracked ?? not 100% sure but i wouldnt of thought any screen repair would be guaranteed.

If the crack has lengthened it wants replacing Chrissa, You can get a Scrap yard replacement but there is every chance it would crack on taking it out, Approx cost, at a guess £150.00+

try an independant/smaller firm, my boy had his Corsa C screen replaced for less than a £100 last year

If they repaired it then they will replace it free of charge under there warranty , BUT If you are paying for the replacement in full and not through fully comprehensive insurance get some quotations from some independant windscreen company's as they will be far far cheaper, if you play them off against each other expect to pay between 85 and 120 in my opinion......

Hi all. My daughter's car passed its MOT today and Autoglass came to the Test Centre and replaced the cracked windscreen FOC. Pretty darn good.
