I've stolen this idea form Radio 2 but having just read a great "tenuous link" on the Rowan Atkinson thread, I thought we'd have thread for your most tenuous links to .................

lets start with "Robbie Williams".

Mine is that when we were on holiday in Cheshire we stopped at a hotel because it was raining so hard we didn't want to drive any further. We were chatting to the owners and discovered Robbie Williams had been there the night before. Nearly met him!

On holiday in Malta Benny from crossroads was staying at the same complex. Was drunk and shouting at people not to look at him!

I have absolutely no links to Mr Williams - but I did just watch an episode of Law and Order SVU with Robin Williams in it. That's preeeetty tenuous ;)
