Hi When buying Euros from Post office do you need to take any ID such as Passport etc... TIA

HI sorry you posted all that while I was typing. That is exactly what they do so where is the insistence that you need ID?
If you're paying directly from your card, you must have ID, Prudie, it simply won't go thorugh the system. I admit, though, silly when you do have the optio to draw cash in the same transaction. Not everyone wants to do it that way even when they're offered it, though.
Well it's best if Tilly takes ID then :-) I'm not trying to be argumentative just telling you what happens to me. I have never been asked for ID. I assume they take the sterling after I've put in my PIN and swap it for euros.
Oh, I know, Prudie! :) They must do it as a cash withdrawal for you, but they are supposed to tell you, that's all. I'm off now. N'night. :)
