I am puzzled as to the prevalence of 'random' in today's vocabulary.
Some 'random person' texted me.
Some 'random' accosted me on the street.

What's wrong with 'stranger'?

I have also heard youngsters describe someone as a Randomer: " A randomer stopped me in the street and asked me where I bought my shoes"
Never heard this one before. Language from youngsters now takes on a whole different meaning doesn't it....can't keep up but the only thing I feel sad about is we are losing the language we know and grammatically it's changing beyond recognition, or it will do leaving it up to the young of today.
So, Hc4361, you're seeking apparently random answers, from random people.

How 'random' can you get?
;-)
Hi daisya.
Methinks 'twas ever thus.
I think you're right Factor. Otherwise we'd all still be saying things like;
Whan that Aprille with his shoures soote. The droghte of March hath perced to the roote
Cue the music... "Maybe it's because I'm a Randomer!" Sorry couldn't resist that one!
I fully admit to over use of the word random and randomer etc x
