I've got a week off work (woohoo!) so I thought I'd pop back on AB for a bit. Been up since 5.30 due to Little Tiggs having a temperature and crying but I've dosed him up with Calpol and he's seems ok now. He's been unwell for a few days now so I'm hoping he'll be over it by Monday. I've had a sore throat since yesterday so excellent start to my week off!!! Typical.

Anyone know of any miracle cure to shake off an impending cold?

This cure is not easy if you haven't a motor bike but I found whenever a cold threatened a 20 mile run on the bike stopped it developing, it never failed.
My doctor couldn't offer an explanation why it worked. :-)

Hiya tigs. I started my week off last week by waking Saturday and feeling like death warmed over. Then Sunday I went to get out of bed...and my back went! 3 days of not being able to straighten up.. ;-(
Better now....and at least the weather has been good. Enjoy your time off. x

Do you know you can buy something at Boots or any chemist that you squirt up your nose (!) at the first sign of a cold and it's supposed to stop it in its tracks? Don't know what it's called, but you'll see it on the medicine counter.
