Hi Teddy-boy, I spoke to him in Boots in Dublin about a year ago. He was with an Irish comedian called PJ Gallagher. I was looking for something down one of the aisles and they walked by and Pj Gallagher said, "You know you're getting old when the gaviscon is more exciting than the johnnies".
I started laughing and they walked back and john bishop said "See mate she finds ya funny". He said hello and asked how I was...Nice guy.

he can be witty but he can also be a bit too "I'm a scouser and this is what scousers do", I prefer him on panel shows like 8 out of 10 cats to his stand up.
