I've tried putting Excel.exe into the start folder so that it boots automatically, but I get the message that my MSCVR80.dll is missing?
What on earth is that and how do I fix it,please, anyone.
I'm running Windows 7 and using Office 2007 (all legit and paid for!)
Any help appreciated
Cheers

Why on earth would you do that?
Anyway do you mean that you've put a copy of the actual program file in the startup folder?
What you need in there is a shortcut to the original program
