Not well i suspect,
woman gives birth to a 13lb 2oz baby, even though the doctors said it was unlikely to weigh more than 8lb.
That must have been a bit of a struggle, a six hour labour, talk about
ouch.

The expression "It's like throwing a sausage down the channel tunnel" springs to mind.... Poor woman.
Andy is right - it probably did smart a bit...like a Chinese burn.

Nothing compared to getting a football square in the spuds on a freezing cold January Sunday morning while nursing a hangover.

Now that was pain.

flip flop, comparing that to giving birth to a 13lb baby, oh come on
My old man was 13 pounds at birth but was number four out, so I guess there was a little more "slack."

My god daughter's brother was over 11 and his Mum is a slip of a girl - it's all about the pelvis though. A mutual friend (and a much bigger lass) had to have a caesarean for an 8 lb baby at just about the same time and had some serious issues afterwards, questioning how our friend could have a 11 pounder and no operation, moaning that it wasn't fair. She ended up with some post-natal depression.....
That's sort of my point em.

No man can ever know what childbirth is like - equally no woman can ever know what having a good kick in the nuts is like.

It is sort of accepted by all women that giving birth is the most painful thing in the world, but I would disagree.

It is an absolutely unwinnable argument from either side.
besides, after a blow to the plums you have nothing o show for it except a limp. at least with childbirth you have something to hold and coo over.

actually i hold and coo over my plums most of time anyway, so scrap that.

a kick in the unmentionables, how long would the pain likely to last, and of course ladies wouldn't know, but those who have had children know that labour pains can go on for what seems like forever. Its not an argument, but would suggest that you really can't compare.
I utterly agree em - you absolutely can't compare the two, which is why (with my tongue firmly wedged in my cheek) I always take issue with women, Mrs Flop included, who argue it is the most painful thing anybody can ever go through.
My tongue is very firmly wedged in my cheek now, but you ask any man whether they would like a second kick in the nuts and everyone would give you an unequivocal and resounding No.

.......yet women go on to have more than one child!!!
