Did you see the accident in the Tour de France this weekend ?

(I only saw it in today's paper)

This car tries to get past the two leading riders, goes up on the verge, swerves to avoid a tree, and takes out both the leading riders !!

And I thought MY bike rides were hazardous.

I dunno much about the Tour De France - but it looks like an official car, one of the ones tat carry bikes etc. Wonder if the driver was employed by one of the cyclists a bit further back....?

It was a French TV car, apparently usually driven by an ex professional cyclist, so he really should have known to break for the tree rather than swerve around it.
