I have some baby rabbits that seem to come through my hedge from the Garden centre that borders my property, they have taken a liking to my plants both in pots and bedding and are destroying them. I have tried lying in wait with the hosepipe, but they seem to enjoy coming back for free showers!! Any suggestions has to how I can persuade them that my plants are not there for their benifit ?? Many Thanks.

Do you have access to a .22 air rifle ?
If yes, your problems would be solved. You could always get someone, who knows what they,re
doing,to do it for you.
This could be considered humane,as a lot of rabbits are infected with myxamatosis, both wild and domestic.

Thank you both, not suitable for a pie then!!
Apparently rabbits with myxamatosis are perfectly safe for us to eat, so you could go ahead with your rabbit pie. Mind you, the appearance of a rabbit with full-blown myxamatosis would tend to put you right off the idea. ;-(

Thank you Deggers, They are delighful animals , I do not wish to hurt them at all, but having spent a fortune on my garden plants, I cannot "just plant some more" I would just like to find something else they would enjoy more, so they were full up before getting to my pots !!! I agree I am very fortunate to have the pleasure of living "in the wild" Thank you for your response and have a very nice day.
