Hello ABers, has anyone ever read any of Agatha Raisins books? I have just come across them on a website and they sound quite amusing and easy to read. Am seriously considering ordering them. Any one got any comments?
I've read the whole series so far .Light reading .Dead bodies abound but not gruesome ..Cozy mystery genre . Think Midsomer with Miss Marple thrown in ..

Cheers Scotman, once again you have answered my question with a positive reply.(got the hosepipe connected, now looks like we are getting a hosepipe ban.Oh well, back to the watering can).
By the same author the Hamish Macbeth series "Death of a ......" are also easy to read, amusing and again not gruesome but plenty of puzzles and interesting characters. A great read if you are feeling in need of comfort reading!
Thanks Joto, yes there is a 'The Works' in my town, and 3 for £5 is good. But I have just ordered them from 'The Book People' and they were 10 for £9,99. A very good price I think !!
each book has a different story but its best if they are read in order because of the underlying story of agathas private life. they are all brilliant though perfect for taking on holidays
I've only come across the afore-mentioned radio series with Penelope Keith but have enjoyed them and am likely to snap up any copies of the books I find. By the way, can anybody tell me the name of the morris dance which is used as the theme tune? Thanks.
