whilst out, it was playing in a shop, and thought i wonder who that is, great voice.
I only got one refrain from the tune, and now i know what it is
Imelda May, Inside Out, it has the line Love me like a Hobo, and couldn't get it out of my head. Do you ever do that, hear something and wonder what it is.

Yes but I've got shazam.
Yes, songs often sound great in shops. I can immediately think of three I heard for the first time in shops and as soon as I got home I found out what they were and bought them. They were Fleet Foxes (winter hymnal), Oasis (she's electric) and Lost Shadow Puppets (separate and ever deadly)

i rarely do that, as most music in shops has me exiting stage left, but this was so great, i looked it up, wasn't even sure if i could find it considering i only knew the one line.
Good one em https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcV_jZUTtU8 I do that a lot too. Whenever I do, I always try to memorize a couple of not-too-common words in a sequence and then I google them as "the exact phrase" (Google's Advanced Search) along with the word 'lyrics'. More often than not that will give me the answer.
For instance, if I were to memorize a googlable sequence from ^^this song, I might have chosen "I love your wits/and all your wobbly bits" ha ha ha ha!

swedeheart, thats what i did, because the riff love me like a hobo is great, and she has an amazing voice. What's weird is that i am sure she appeared with Jools Holland and his band a couple of years ago, at the Albert Hall, she wasn't listed in the programme, which i still have, but i think its her.
Question Author
i will keep that on file, what a great song, and video, others should take a listen, great voice.
Question Author
it was her i saw, how strange, with Jools Holland at the Albert Hall, 2007. Thought she was great then, but no name in the programme.
I definitely recognise her name. The intro is reminiscent of Ricky Martin don't you think?
Question Author
not sure about that, but she certainly has got something special.
