What a week!

This week has been completely mental. There was the whole leaving hospital thing on Monday, which turned out to be a much bigger issue then that should be really. I slept pretty much all of Tuesday. Wednesday was spent with several nurses and doctors arguing about what sort of care I should be receiving. Yesterday morning I had a lesson in how to pack my wound this weekend which was slightly gross/odd. Then we went to a funeral of a friends Mum which was ....well, a funeral of someone who died too early. Then on the way to the wake, the bf and I were driving down the road after popping home and as we drove past a man walking on the pavement he suddently collapsed. We of course stopped and ran over to check him. He was unconcious with blood streaming from his head so we had to call the amublance, his wife and look after him for a while until he went off to hospital. It was quite a scary thing, I thought he was dead at first. Then after getting home I got a call about a family problem and had to go and help. Now as I've been told I'm still not allowed to drive, I've got to find out how the fluff I'm going to get to work all next week. Between all of this and all the tablets I'm taking at the moment I'm feeling well and truely flumped. I just want to go to bed for a week. Just thought I would share/vent.

That sounds great Nom. Just don't be offended if I take one sleep and fall asleep.
Oh, and also because of my stupid bloody leg with it's stupid bloody holes I'm not allowed to do the camping this weekend at Silverstone that we have paid for and been excited about for ages.

Sounds a bit like a week we had in March, on the Friday night went out with my then workmates for my belated leaving do, got a taxi home and when my fiance got out of the taxi, paid and walked round the front, the taxi driver drove into his legs, and once hit him he didnt stop! My OH was staggering sideways on gravel as he knew if he slipped he would go under the taxi.
Then on the Monday we go to play squash, I smack the ball which hits my OH smack on in the side of the head, he made a horrendous noise and keeled over sideways, OMG I thought I had done him in!
Then on the Tuesday I had my head on car accident in which my fiances Land rover was written off!
