What is the best kind of paint (water proof) to paint wellington boots? Should I put a base paint on first? thnx

As wellies are already waterproof, why do you want to paint them?

I want to paint a pattern on them to make them unique. But the paint has to be water proof.

local diy shop - plenty different paints which will cover rubber.

Hi Ineed to paint some wellies too. Have painted my sons green wellies with brown plasti-kote enamel paint.  Great coverage but staying sticky.  Help I have two days until  dressing up day at school.  Need brown cowboy boots.,
