Can you help? I have a ibook G3 which can with OSX 10.1.5. I know you can update the OS system from the apple website but can you go from 10.1.5 to 10.2 using these downloads.

If not how else is it done? Software I'm buying now needs a newer OSX version to operate.

thanks

your best bet is to buy Tiger (10.4) from the Apple store.

This will run faster on your system than your current version does (once indexing has taken place for spotlight).
You can not upgrade free from 10.1 to 10.2 which was the upgrade issued in 2005 under the name Jaguar, and which you had to pay for.
As mr_vernon says the latest version is 10.4 "Tiger" which has been out for several months, and is now at 10.4.2, and is well worth paying for.
