For once we seem to have a MP who talks a little sense especially when it comes to Davis Cameron's idiotic policy of committing taxpayers to lavishing billions of pounds more on overseas aid.

It would be a complete folly to enshrine in law a commitment to devote 0.7 per cent of national income to spending on overseas development aid, British taxpayers will have to fork out nearly £4billion more a year on foreign aid by the time of the next election – a massive 34 per cent rise when most ministries are seeing their spending slashed by a fifth.

Especially when some of the countries that receive aid seem much better off than Britain.

/// India – which has three times as many billionaires as Britain and is a nuclear power receives nearly £300million a year from the UK yet has a space programme.///

/// While UK school programmes are hit, spending in schools in Pakistan is expected to soar.///

Sorry Coldicote for placing a question on the same subject as yours.

You must have posted yours while I was still composing mine.
Yes, but I wonder why he has to send a letter to Cameron rather than facing him round the cabinet table. Makes you wonder if he conspired in the leak
Fox is playing the long game. It is designed to create a wedge between the coalition partners, and when the coalition goes tits up,as it will sooner than later, Cameron will go down with it leaving the way open for the likes of Fox and Hague. By the way, don't write off David Davis just yet.
Overseas Aid is obviously a bad thing because it means less foreign people die or live in misery.

If the money was spent on Dove Houses or Nuclear Submarines instead, we could all live happily.
In answer to your question - No.

Cameron is doing an OK job in very difficult circumstances. Dr liam Fox is a non entity.
I thought you meant the DJ!!! Actually, yes - even he would be better
