Interviewed on R4 this morning all Theresa May would reveal is that she hasn't shown her hand (if any) yet. I think she would be a complete winner for the Tories - a very attractive lady with a very sensual voice and oodles of charisma.

Wasn't this part of the discussion about women in politics not being taken seriously for their ideas and abilities but having to field questions from selection commitees like "what will your husband do for sex whilst you're at Westmister?" and "will your husband come to coffee mornings?"

mfewell from his/her previous postings is a novice in the understanding the finer points of british politics and its role in the betterment of our daily lives...in other words is a labour supporter. So his suggestion regards Theresa may is a weak attempt at raising the hackles of the enlightened few who support Tory.

Dom Tuk - thanks. I am a longstanding conservative, possibly to the right of you. It's just that with New Labour already as far to the right as it is possible to go, the Tory party is politically redundant. They desperately need someone at the helm with oomph and character.
