Hopscotch
hoopla
skipping
two balls against the wall.(unsure of the correct name for the name) which you sang to the rhythm of song.
Chappy, Ixion?
Snipes?
Explanations called for, I think!
Football ( a lot of)
Curbie (sp?)
Tin can alley. A bit similar to another game i've read on here.
Three sticks placed on can near base. Hide and seek style someone counted others off to hide. but if anyone made back without been found or tagged they would kick the can thus setting the ones caught free. The player counting/searching had to set the can back up with the sticks before searching/tagging again.
My childhood may have been rather misspent Buenchico.....chappy(chap door run away) - snipes was a forfeit card game - the loser had to present their clenched fist with knuckles showing which were then hit in a rasping motion with the deck of cards - over time this pulled the skin off the knuckles(and made a right mess of the cards!)
Oh, I see, Ixion.
'Chappy' was just 'knock and run' where I lived (and was generally looked down upon by most kids).
'Snipes' sounds vaguely familiar as well (but not under that name)

Arksided:
I can't ever remember having a suitable can available to play that one!
