I've had a new boiler fitted in the kitchen and when I run the hot water into either the kitchen or bathroom sink it comes out opaque , but after a minute or so the water in the sink starts to clear.
This never happened with the old boiler. Anyone got any ideas.?

This is normal with a combi boiler, and yes they are very small bubbles
This is natural. Water contains gases that are dissolved in it from the air. When water is heated these gases try to escape. They can't, because they're under mains pressure in your combi. When you turn the tap on, the pressure is reduced, allowing the gases to escape as tiny bubbles, giving the water a milky appearance. Normal, harmless, and as you say, the water clears, once the bubbles are gone. It didn't happen on your old system if it was a hot water tank or immersion type, since a vent pipe would have allowed the gases to escape as the water heated and the tank pressure remained low.

Thanks for your answers and your time.
Re combi boilers, we have just had a oil fired combi boiler installed to replace the old oil fired boiler, my oh has been told by people at her workplace that under regulations the installation has to be signed off by an independent company not connected to the installers is this true?
