I have my ears pierced but haven't worn earrings for about 10 years. If I want to wear earrings now do I actually need to get them re-pierced or can I just stick some through the hole (I don't think they have completely closed up)?

i did something similar with mine milly but they quite easily pushed through when i decided to wear them again after a number of years. i used my original gold studs and wore them all the time for a little while, there was no problem at all.
Just push something through, mine just close up but the hole is still there, just a bit tight!!

Thanks all. I'll give it a try this weekend then.
I've stopped wearing my earings on a day to day basis but when I went to put them on a couple of weeks ago it felt as though the holes had closed up a bit. It was a bit painful trying to get them in.
Use a thin gold shaft/wire & work to thicker as req'd.
Try massaging the ear lobe with a dab of vaseline first, I don't know why it helps but it does!
