my pal has tuned his tv from analouge to digital
he is not happy with it
text news only covers half screen
volume not high enough
the question is
can his tv be retuned to analogue again

Well, he could.
But he'll find that (depending upon where he lives) he'll have no analogue signal shortly. Digital text is designed to show the current programme in addition to the text ( I preferred the old text, too). He'll need to persevere.

The digital receiver. Is it built into the TV or a separate box? The reason I ask is that some separate boxes have a volume control for the box. If you set that to high and then use the TV to turn the volume down he may find it is louder.
