All the posturing by politicians about immigration has not achieved anything. Has he now realised the situation cannot coninue or will it be much of the same?

you cant blanket ban - there are world class skilled folk that we need to come in here. What is needed is a very well defined and strictly managed immigration policy.....and a clear message about kicking out those that should not be here. And even within this tight policy, we could even consider short term licenses which include a one or two yearly reporting process to ensure that the license is valid and renewed.
As I have said before, will we ever be allowed to regain our 'Independence' again, just as those countries that kicked out the British have?
Why does mixed race always automatically mean black? Could just as easily mean white. Of course if you did refer to someone as being white when they were mixed race you would probably get lynched.
