Old EMBROIDED POLO WORK TOPS

What is the best way to cover up/remove a company name which is embroided on a polo top.the name is made up of 12 letters.Its a bit much to unpick it and i have about 10 in total.Any serious suggestion are much appreciated.

You could get transfers and stick them over the top, but I suspect that they wouldn't stick over the lettering. Why can't they just be left? I know people who wear out of date livery uniform garments, it's never presented a problem.
A seam ripper would make the job much easier.

I've got one of them, graham, yes that would make it much easier. I suspect unpicking will leave a mark on the garment though...
I would get some sew on embroidered motifs and sew them on over the top, quicker and better results. It is almost impossible to unpick the embroidery without damaging the fabric and making holes and the stitching will almost certainly leave it's mark in the fabric.
deending on where they are...i assume breast height....you could fold it inwards into a small seam right the way around the torso and sew it...
