HP Printer Problem

Paper in my printer jammed while doing a copy I removed the power cable at the back of the printer retreived the offending paper. Plugged in the power supply the scanning bar is stuck in one position 1/2 way and the power light is not on but the scanner bar is flashing Tried turning off again removing all cables to the computer but nothing seems to work HELP !!

next upgrade from portable cd player to mp3 player or ipod.

Just been to the computer shop they think the power unit inside the printer is faulty they have had this fault before. Unfortunately they cannot buy replacement parts. The annoyng thing is I have just bought new inks at a cost of £70

You could unplug the printer, then remove all the software (through Add and Remove in Control Panel) and then try re-installing it.
