...on 4th April? A first class stamp will then cost 51p, and second class is going up too.

It seems quite a hike, and I've not noticed any publicity - it's only because the PO counter assistant mentioned it yesterday that I know about it at all!

Run out and buy some stamps now, before they go up - the ones marked 1st and 2nd will still be valid after the new rates come in.

.. you've been in my desk, spudqueen - I seem to have amassed a collection of unused stamps, just waiting for sticking on - probably for my Christmas cards!
