I have just started to get mildew on the sealing in the shower, the grouting came up OK with neat bleach but the white sealing I have had no joy, can anybody give me some ideas, apart from renewing it.

My wife uses Betterware grout cleaner on the grouting in our shower. The cleaner is sprayed on the grouting, left for 5-10 mins, then you scrub the grouting gently with a soft brush (my wife uses an old toothbrush) to dislodge dirt. Rinse the area well after treatment with clean water, and wash off any spillage immediately with clean water. The point of my telling you all this about grout cleaner is that my wife says that when the cleaner is rinsed down the tiles, it goes over the sealant around the tray and we have never had any mildew there since we started using this Betterware grout cleaner.

Thankyou bookbinder i will buy Betterware cleaner and give it a try.
If you do have to change the sealant and I expect it will come to that make sure you choose one with an anti mould/mildew ingredient.
