Pudding basin

I was going to cook an old fashioned suet pudding tomorrow. Just realised that my pudding basin has gone awol (a casualty of many house moves, i suspect). I've got three pyrex bowls which I normally use for mixing and prep - do you think they will cope with being steamed for 3+ hours?

I usually use my pyrex bowls, they are quite old ones but have survived so far
