On the telly (watched more of Cougar Town last night), people sit together in bed, after a bonk, looking like they've just come from the make up room (which they have, of course).

Doesn't it make us feel inferior that they look so ... "composed" ?

Shouldn't they make them up to be all sweaty and sticky, flushed and red in the face, with your hair all bedraggled and stuck to your face, and out of breath ?

The term "Platonic" has it's roots in giving it to young boys up the pooper in preference to normal sex with a lady.

Sorry to be graphic ... but not nearly as graphic as some of the so-called "philiosphical" works of the ancient Greeks.
