Aww so sad xxx
I wonder what he died of. That's so sad. Poor thing suffered from depression when his keeper died too ... how sad is that. :o(

He was only 4. They're going to do a post mortem to find out the cause.
Didn't see that many messages from him here on AB.
It was a pretty sad case - humans bickering over whether to raise him by hand or let him die, his keeper friend dying and I see they were fighting over 'ownership' of the poor thing in the end.

I read in some literature from Edinburgh Zoo that they are really dangerous animals to keep - there are no obvious facial expressions or body changes to indicate if they are about to attack.

I like wolves.
Knut is at peace now and is free.
