SNOW!!!!!

Family member who is currently in Durham is saying that sleet/snow has fallen. Rumour is Scotland/Borders/Northern England could get some this weekend. Met office indicates only a possibility at the moment. Crazy! Forgive my ignorance, is there still some of you dealing with snow/ice conditions. I am hoping where we are, thats the end of it for a while!

Am watching the Italy France rugby on the Beeb.

It seems that Rome has snow too - well there is a white sprinkling evident on Jeremy Guscott's head......

I've spoken to my MIL in Hamilton about an hour ago, she says it was quite thick this morning but is now raining, the roads are covered in deep slush. It was forecast, the Met office has predicted it!

A lot milder here in Yorkshire. I remember it snowing on my birthday 17th April i think 1999!!

My sister was born at the beginning of May and she definitely remembers snow one year on her birthday.

They did boxy -we've been prepped all week -had on and off all week but was heavy during the night and forecast is getting worse.Much the same in Perthshire its slush now but have watched the reports from up North and its lying quite deeply and roads again are hazardous -they dont half get it bad up there :( C'es la vie....
