My neighbor, who's 78, has had his car stolen 3 times in 3 months, He knew who was responsible, but when he told the police they just said. "sorry sir we need evidence"
So he decided to set a trap, fro the next time it happened.
He got a plank of wood, hammered about 20 nails into it, put it under the front seat cover, then waited for them to come back, which they did, lying awake in bed one night he heard the shout's of "my ass, my ass.....His car hasn't been touched since :-)

MM.I know it does it matter how long ago it was? He's had no prob for a couple of months
Carakeel, your mother sounds like a sensible woman, but I cant understand why she gave up driving..
Over here in Spain, after the age of 50 you have to have a medical every 5 years before they renew your licence. And yes, accidents can happened to anyone at anytime.
on your logic sarah all 22 years old should not drive as my brother was hit by a car driven by a 22 year old....i hate such rash statements and although male i detest remarks against women drivers...but guess you do too ,but thats differant in your book
