Does anyone have the recipe for butterscotch tart and that funny white whippy cream (we called it shaving foam) that you used to get at school?

That weird ersatz cream was called "roselle" at our school - not sure of the spelling - if that's any help on the searching
Roselle is live n kickin in social work/ education etc establishments all over Scotland! It is a cream alternative (supposedly!) supplied by contacted catering suppliers. If you actually want to get some, I think I've seen it in Makro. But perhaps you'd better stick with your memories!!
I don't know the recipie but if you slowly simmer a can of condensed milk in boiling water for half an hour you will get your lovely Butterscotch flavour goo
This is a fast safer version of the Banoffee Pie recipe (Butterscotch Pie + bananas) - I'm a bit wary of unopened tins in boiling water for about 3 hours. whttp://www.ivillage.co.uk/food/tools/recipefinder/

I do have the original Butterscotch Pie recipe - please let me know if you would prefer this - as it'll take a while to copy out.
