My current Sky bills seem to be expensive, so am thinking of canceling my subscription. Are there any Freeview boxes that are on the market which record, pause and rewind live TV.

Thank you

I cancelled my Sky contract ( you have to give 30 days notice) & kept our 2 Sky+ H/D boxes (multiroom) without doing anything else we were able to receive Sky Freesat which still gives us 4 H/D channels for free. The Sky+ boxes will no longer be able to record or playback from the internal hard drive, but I can record progs on my DVD recorder,I have replaced the main Sky+H/D box (in the living room ) with a Humax Freesat+ box which is giving us excellent service.

Got a Humax Foxsat HDR. Good deals on their website. Had no problems at all.
