I thought last nights episode was brilliantly directed, produced and acted. And also a lot of it was factually correct for a change. What do other fans think?

Yep, and Anna Maxwell Martin who was in Bleak House.
I thought it was BRILLIANT. Must have been really bizarre for the actors playing Culpepper and Derham to see their own dead heads on sticks though....

I found it amazing how realistic the hanging was done.
I must confess I covered my face with my hands for the torture and execution scenes cos I'm a big wuss....

I'm enjoying it, loving the costumes & big crowd scenes. History wasn't my thing so I haven't a clue about the inaccuracies. :o)

I'm not bothered about the inaccuracies anymore. Its just good to watch.
History is my thing. I love history. But I can forgive all the inaccuracies when it's a good, watchable drama.

I read today that a team are to ask permission from the Queen to dig up old Henry VIII primarily to see what he looked like and also to see if he was suffering from some disease that made him become a tyrant, enough to behead two of his wives.
I recorded it, but missed it as the blooming snooker ran late.
