Nokia recently ran an ad on British TV where a girl is watching a horror movie on the screen of her Nokia cellphone. Does anyone know what which movie she was watching?

Sorry to disappoint you but It wasn't real. It was an advert - featuring actors on a closed set made to look like a bus. The technology required to watch moving pictures on a telephone doesn't exist. The actor playing the girl was therefore reacting to a director's prompt while the soundtrack of the 'film' would have been dubbed on at a later date.

(Rant starts) People like Nokia are trying to develop this technology because their business imperitive requires us, the consumers, to keep buying new handsets from them, though we all appear to be quite happy with the ones we've got. Hence Wap - which no-one liked - and now still-picture sending, which is flimsy and feeble and is going to upset alot of people who shell out on the basis of adverts promising top-notch technology.

And another thing. People listening to Walkmans on the bus are bad enough - if anyone started to watch a TV programme or film and started to react they would surely deserve to be booted off the bus? (Rant ends.)

mikewith, I don't think you read the question properly. what fjchrisk is asking is which movie was being used on the mobile phone screen. I'm afraid I can't enlighten any further though.

Mopoke is correct. I know the 'technology' is faked. However, the movie shown is a real one and I would like to know the title. Thanks for any help.

I think I can answer this myself now. I think it may have been 'Black Sabbath' from the early 1960's (from where the band got there name allegedly!)
