I have some shrubs and then fill my garden with annuals. Next year (2012), little miss puzz is hoping to get married in June and I would like there to be lots of colour in the garden. I can start planning the garden now, but would like some ideas of what to plant, as I think my usual annuals flower later in the summer. Any ideas welcome. Thanks.

You'd be better off buying your annuals from a garden centre as they'd be in bloom in June unless you start them off early inside the house then put them into a heated greenhouse. Pelagoniums in pots are lovely to brighten anything up. Peony roses flower in June so you could plant some of them this year (don't plant deep as if you do they don't flower... keep top of pot level with soil level)
