Disagree, purely on the grounds of historical accuracy. The last episode showed the King slipping Anne of Cleves a quick one after he had divorced her. He found her so physically repulsive that he could not bear to touch her, hence the divorce. The first series showed Cardinal Wolsey committing suicide, which of course he did not.
We all know its historically inaccurate but its enjoyble to watch. I've liked it from the start. I also liked the mini series with Ray Winstone a few years back. He probably looked a lot more like Henry than J R Meyer.
I love the inaccuracy the laugh out loud dialogue the Irish accents not forgetting the costume and scenery slip ups (there really was a concrete bollard the other week)
I love it all and will miss it when it goes
