Light relief

With all the doom and gloom in the news these days, I couldn't help a wry smile this morning on reading that scientists at Cambridge Uni have discovered how fleas can jump so far and so fast. What an exciting feature to have multi-jointed levers for hind legs!! Are there any other news items that readers have found amusing? We could do with some light relief.

What I find amusing is that people still believe humans originated from a 1 cell organism? Its less than the equivalent of one person winning the national lottery every week of the year.

The sad news and photo was Koo Stark going for bankruptcy today.....she should have married Prince Andrew - wimp that he was in not asking her. She really has put on the pounds and has had a miserable time what with breast cancer and now this......

Fully agree DT he should have married her. Unfortunately it was at the time when royal children and their husbands/wives and girlfriends etc hadn't behaved so inappropriately - thinking Fergie, Charles, Diana etc etc
