What does the next five years hold for the average family in England, With job cuts, soaring fuel prices, higher food prices, reduced public services etc, is there any cause for optimism.My glass is usually half full, but if things get any worse i dont know.

i cant see any optimism beyond the next 18 months let alone 5 years !!!

Always look on the bright side of life...do do..do do do do do do.

We are still well off compared to some. Just ask the Be-Afrians as my nanna used to say (I think she meant Africans).
